Job Description


We are seeking a Calibration Technician II to perform calibration and repair of a wide range of test and measurement equipment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and excellent interpersonal skills. Proficiency in verbal and written communication, along with solid computer skills, is essential. The technician will work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate and repair electronic and mechanical test and measurement equipment

  • Work with various equipment types, including:

    • AC/DC Low Voltage: Multimeters, power meters, voltage calibrators, etc.

    • RF/Microwave: Spectrum analyzers, frequency generators, RF counters

    • Temperature & Humidity Devices: Thermometers, data loggers, environmental chambers, ovens

    • T&M Equipment Generators: Insulation testers, dielectric testers, controllers

    • Mechanical Equipment: Torque wrenches, calipers, scales, pressure gauges and controllers

  • Adhere to documented calibration procedures and methods

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of work performed

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in calibration and repair of test and measurement equipment

  • Familiarity with ISO 17025 Quality Management Systems

  • Understanding of measurement uncertainty and ability to perform related calculations

  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and following detailed written procedures

  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuitry

  • Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent required

  • Commercial or military PMEL/TMDE experience is preferred

  • Must be able to lift and move up to 33 lbs. without assistance
