Job Description


Job Title:  Drafting Technician

Salary:  $28/hr (12-month contract)

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7am- 3:30pm (hours may be flexible if needed).
Location:  "onsite" at clients location in Neenah WI  54956

 

Our client has an opportunity for an Electrical CAD Drafting Technician. 

In this role you will be updating red-lined electrical prints, maintaining machine documentation, and supporting small plant-run design projects.
  • Use AutoCAD knowledge to maintain machine electrical documentation
  • Update prints based on feedback from engineers or electricians
  • Create construction package documentation for small-scale projects

 

Qualifications
    • Associates Degree – Required!
    • 1-3 years of previous experience in similar role
    • Knowledge of electrical drawing device symbols- Required!
    • Previous experience w/ AutoCad v20
    • Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint – competent skill level
    • Good communication skills
    • Willingness to learn
    • Previous experience with Rockwell RSLogix 5, 500 and 5000 PLC software – A Plus!
    • NFPA 70e Standard training – A Plus!
    • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
    • The position is subject to passing a background check and drug screen
