Job Title: Drafting Technician
Salary: $28/hr (12-month contract)

Our client has an opportunity for an Electrical CAD Drafting Technician.
In this role you will be updating red-lined electrical prints, maintaining machine documentation, and supporting small plant-run design projects.

Our client has an opportunity for an Electrical CAD Drafting Technician.
In this role you will be updating red-lined electrical prints, maintaining machine documentation, and supporting small plant-run design projects.
- Use AutoCAD knowledge to maintain machine electrical documentation
- Update prints based on feedback from engineers or electricians
- Create construction package documentation for small-scale projects
Qualifications
-
- Associates Degree – Required!
- 1-3 years of previous experience in similar role
- Knowledge of electrical drawing device symbols- Required!
- Previous experience w/ AutoCad v20
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint – competent skill level
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Previous experience with Rockwell RSLogix 5, 500 and 5000 PLC software – A Plus!
- NFPA 70e Standard training – A Plus!
- Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
- The position is subject to passing a background check and drug screen
