We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant / Financial Analyst to perform a wide variety of accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, budgeting, and ad-hoc financial analysis. This role supports internal stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and auditors by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while contributing to overall organizational financial performance.
Work Environment:
Hybrid work model with required in-office presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Professional office setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, maintain, and monitor financial and productivity reports for regulatory agencies, auditors, and internal leadership.
Perform general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Analyze financial data and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
Assist with internal and external financial reporting requirements.
Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation schedules, and asset tracking.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and prepare reports as requested by leadership.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with audit preparation and provide requested documentation.
Identify process improvement opportunities and support operational efficiency initiatives.
Utilize accounting systems, spreadsheets, and financial software to manage reporting functions.
Required Qualifications:Education:
College-level coursework in Accounting or related field required.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Accounting preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of full-scope accounting experience for a business required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting may substitute for required experience.
Technical Skills:
Experience with computers required.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.
Strong spreadsheet and financial reporting skills preferred.
