Hybrid 3 - 2
Strategic sourcing leader responsible for driving commodity strategies, supplier performance, and cost optimization across global supply chains. Leads cross-functional collaboration to enhance procurement efficiency, ensure competitive supply base, and deliver measurable business value through data-driven decisions and supplier partnerships.

Responsibilities:
• Lead Commodity Circle and drive cross-functional alignment on sourcing strategies
• Develop and execute commodity and ecosystem strategies aligned with business goals
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and long-term contracts (Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management)
• Ensure cost transparency, optimize spend, and implement savings initiatives (Cost Management, Spend Analysis)
• Conduct procurement activities including sourcing, awarding, and supplier evaluations (Supplier Management, Procurement Operations)
• Drive risk mitigation and supplier performance improvements (Supply Chain Risk Management)
• Utilize systems and tools for reporting and decision-making (SAP, Productivity Management Systems, Excel)
• Support early supplier involvement and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
• 6–12 years in Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing within machinery/manufacturing
• Strong Analytical Skills, Financial Analysis, Data-Driven Decision Making
• Expertise in SAP, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Knowledge of Mechanical Manufacturing Processes and supplier communication
• Experience in Contract Negotiation, Supplier Relationship Management, Risk Management
• Familiarity with Supply Chain Value Streams, Commercial Terms & Conditions
• Strong Communication, Problem-Solving, Stakeholder Management skills
• Ability to work in Global Matrix Organizations and travel (10–15%)
• Preferred: Power Generation Industry, Data Analysis/Science experience
