Responsible for ensuring supplier compliance, product quality, and continuous improvement for MV/LV electrical systems and components across a global supply base.
Responsibilities:
Perform supplier monitoring and product inspections (visual, dimensional, weld, coating, traceability, quality records, FAT including transformer and MCC testing).
Conduct supplier audits per ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards.
Manage nonconformances, initiate containment, and drive corrective actions.
Support supplier evaluation, qualification, process validation, and technical supplier development.
Lead root cause analysis and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Generate periodic supplier performance and quality reports.
Oversee quality for MCC, switchgear, switchboards, panel boards, UPS, transformers, excitation systems, frequency converters, batteries, E-houses, cables, and bus ducting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
10+ years in supplier quality, quality management, or electrical engineering (MV/LV systems).
Strong experience in supplier audits, product/process qualification, and development.
Extensive knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, UL, IEC.
ISO 9001/14001/45001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
