If you are looking for an opportunity to contribute your skills and knowledge our client is looking for a dedicated and motivated Laboratory Technician.
In this role you will
- Perform comprehensive clinical laboratory procedures of low and high complexity as directed by the laboratory manager
- Perform preparation of reagents and controls
- Perform daily and weekly maintenance of equipment per SOPs (standard operating procedures) and any other applicable documentation
- Maintain laboratory and equipment clean and functional (On the job training will be provided)
- Perform all tasks related - clinical sample testing (blood, urine), including sample receipt, log-in, sample preparation and testing, recording test results, and disposing of samples
- Organize stock and maintains inventory; order stock as needed
- Adhere to existing safety standards and help improve laboratory safety practical
- General responsibilities- maintenance of laboratory equipment, data entry, maintenance of laboratory records including quality control, instrument logs, and inventory of reagents and supplies
- Provide support to direct and extended R&D team as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
Schedule: SFT, 40 hrs, M-F, 8am - 5 pm
Salary: $DOE/ hr, (contract)

Required Qualifications :
- Associate Degree- w/ 3 years’ of previous working experience or
- 4-yr Bachelor’s degree (Chemistry, Biology, or other STEM related field) w/ 0-2 years’ of previous working experience
- Experience with urine chemistry and/or hematology diagnostic testing and instrumentation - Preferred!
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of laboratory duties and/or biological sciences – Required!
