Laboratory Technician

Our client has direct hire opportunity for a Laboratory Technician team member who enjoys a dynamic work environment where every person’s contributions are critical to the companies ongoing success. Approximately 50% of the work will be conducted in a full gown cleanroom.


Job Responsibilities



  • Receive, visually inspect, and document incoming customer goods

  • Generate Contamination Standards used to calibrate defect inspection equipment

  • Work with managers to schedule production orders and plan details of order processing

  • Produce particle suspensions following predefined processing recipes

  • Assist with the development of new deposition recipes by documenting them into either MS Excel or MS PowerPoint

  • Use inspection equipment to validate depositions

  • Prepare technical documentation to summarize and certify particle depositions

  • Ensure quality products through process improvement and equipment maintenance

  • Assist with improving manufacturing capabilities through the investigation, resolution and improvement of manufacturing process issues

  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining clean room equipment and facilities

  • Inventory Management of required materials

  • Work cooperatively with other departments and follow all cleanroom practices

  • Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications :


  • Associate's Degree (Engineering or Science focused - e.g. Chemistry, Physics, Math, etc.)

  • 2+ years of work experience in a varied processing/testing role (metrology, laboratory, analysis, chemistry, quality or other scientific work)

  • Proficient in the MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc

  • Previous experience operating complex or specialized laboratory equipment

  • Previous experience communicating directly with customers about their requirements

  • Previous experience in the semiconductor industry

  • Skills to be successful – detail oriented and team player
