Manufacturing Test Technician

Our client has an opening for a Manufacturing Test Technician.  In this role you will Test digital wireless equipment, Prepare equipment for shipping deadline, Read and analyze documentation as necessary for testing, and assist the Engineers in producing a quality product.




  • Test, and prepare products

  • Find and correct defects in systems that become apparent as a result of testing

  • Assist with project implementation and development

  • Inspect the completed product

  • Document recurring defects discovered in the manufacturing process

  • Communicate any recurring defects discovered in a product item, the test equipment, or other procedures necessary for quality production

  • Draft work instructions and procedures

  • Document all routine work

  • Additional duties as assigned


Schedule:  FT 40hrs, Mon-Fri, (Contract to Hire)

Required Qualifications :


  • Technical knowledge of MS Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 of Microsoft Office Suites, knowledge of Windows OS based computer hardware, and TCP/IP networking – Required!

  • Proficient -Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

  • 2+ years’ of experience, or equivalent in CCDA, CCNP, MCSE, MCP, MCSA, MCDBA, MOUS, MCT, MCDST, and A+, or similar

  • PC and/or application training

  • Experience and knowledge with router and WiFi configuration and operation

  • Experience and knowledge with computer network configuration including network equipment configuration and operation

  • Knowledge of Microsoft, Linux, and other Operating Systems for troubleshooting and administration

  • Knowledge of computer application and network connectivity foundation including network protocols such as IP, IPX and TCP

  • Ability to use a soldering iron, power solder sucker, and many other hand tools

  • Ability to read and analyze schematics

  • An understanding of the function of the circuit and each component.
