Project Engineer

Job Description :
Our client is looking for a Project Engineer who will be responsible for designing solutions for challenging treatment applications and acting as a consultant to internal and external personnel.





  • Designs, specifies and interprets P&ID’s, BOM’s and O&M’s

  • Provides submittal and start-up support

  • Assists in evaluating customer specifications to designate the proper water solution, accurate BOM’s and capital/operating cost estimates

  • Completes required bids and proposals by required internal due date

  • Confirms product performance by designing and conducting operational tests

  • Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports

  • Provide engineering support

  • Seeks outside resources to assist with implementing operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions and to seek technical support/information

  • Occasional travel to customer jobsites or tradeshows (5%).

Required Qualifications :


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; or 2-5yrs related experience and/or training; or equivalent or combination of education and experience

  • Previous experience with AutoCAD

  • Previous experience with designing piping systems (2+ years)

  • Ability to perform calculations needed for drawing creation

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, etc.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, etc.

  • Software / Computer Skills - AutoCAD Design, MS Excel and Word, Adobe

  • Skills – Customer Service, Attention to detail, Problem Solver. Leadership, Proactive, Innovative

  • Collaborative Team Player
