If you are looking for an opportunity to contribute your skills and knowledge our client has an opportunity for a QC Technician-Baker.

In this role you will test manufactured products to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance to pre-set specifications.

• Test all manufactured items according to policy and procedures


• Record/Document results of testing


• Provide support for Sales presentations – prepare samples- providing best first impression for presentations


• Process customer returns


• Report daily overview- prepare a summary of daily testing and email to appropriate team members


• Daily housekeeping of equipment and Test Lab area

Salary: $DOE / hr (contract to hire)

Schedule:  40 hrs/ week, rotating schedule over 7 days, every 3^rd weekend off, potential for overtime. Training starts at 4am, then moves to 2^nd shift

• High school diploma  or equivalent – Required!


• Previous baking experience w/ exposure to a wide variety of products- Required!


• Previous experience in a laboratory preparing and testing manufactured goods- A Plus!


• Previous experience working in a food processing plant / warehouse/ kitchen- A Plus!


• Familiar and previous experience and knowledge - pH meters, AW meters, refractometers, Bostwick, and determining specific gravity


• Collaborative Team player as well as independently


• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and changing responsibilities


• Skills to be successful – reliable, organized, attention to detail


• Proficient computer skills (MS Office, e-mail, etc.


• Ability to lift up to 50lbs infrequently during the day
