Are you looking for an opportunity to continue to grow your career in the Medical Device Industry?  Our client has a “direct hire” opportunity for an experienced R&D Process Development Engineer to join their team. 


 


Responsibilities



  • Lead the development and characterization of pilot-scale manufacturing processes

  • Prepare detailed experimental plans and coordinates execution with technical team members

  • Review experimental data and provide statistical and other technical analysis

  • Consider experimental outcomes, project and manufacturing objectives, and recommends next steps

  • Support vendor and other external process qualifications

  • Assure readiness for pilot-scale manufacturing and clinical builds

  • Support the transfer and validation of manufacturing processes

  • Communicate experimental plans, outcomes, and recommendations to project team and R&D leadership

  • Prepare clear, concise, and accurate technical reports and laboratory notebook records

  • Assist with patent and regulatory filings

  • Prepare pilot-scale manufacturing documentation

  • Plan and recommend equipment and facility needs to support R&D projects

  • Leads the design, build, and qualification of manufacturing equipment, tools, or facility space

  • Leads efforts to improve laboratory or manufacturing procedures or methods

Required Qualifications :

  • BS Chemical Engineering or advanced degree in Engineering or related discipline

  • 5+ years - Process Development experience

  • Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry experience - Preferred!

  • Demonstrated ability in process characterization and experimental design

  • Strong engineering and problem solving skills

  • Ability to verbally communicate technical plans and outcomes

  • Strong skills in the preparation of written technical reports
